Our Story
From one site in Madurai to landmarks across the district.
Kavin Builders began with a simple frustration. Families were investing their life savings into a house and getting back a building nobody had properly supervised — cost overruns explained after the fact, materials swapped without a word, and a contractor who stopped answering calls once the final payment cleared.
Er. K. Prasanna started the firm to work the opposite way: an engineer on site, an itemised estimate on paper, and a phone that gets picked up. What began with independent houses in and around Iyer Bungalow now includes commercial blocks and some of the larger marriage halls in the region.
The scale changed. The way we work did not.

Small houses to large-span halls.
The same team handles a 1,200 sq.ft. home and a 20,000 sq.ft. marriage hall, because the discipline is identical — only the engineering changes.
- Structural design for long spans. Column-free banquet areas, portico arches and cantilevered porches designed and checked in-house.
- Photoreal 3D elevation studio. You see the finished building — materials, lighting, landscaping — before approval.
- Landscape & feature work. Musical fountains, compound elevations, entrance plazas and façade lighting.
- Complete MEP coordination. Electrical, plumbing and drainage planned with the structure, not after it.

Our Commitment
Four promises we put in writing.

The estimate is itemised, not a lump sum
You receive a breakdown by stage and by material specification. If something needs to change mid-project, you approve it in writing before we proceed.

Brands are named in the agreement
Cement, steel, wiring, plumbing and sanitary brands are written into the contract. No substitution happens without your consent.

You get proof, not assurances
Concrete cube test results, steel test certificates and material invoices are shared with you as the work progresses.
04
We come back after handover
A defect-liability period follows every project. If something from our scope fails in that window, we repair it — at no cost, without an argument.
